Artist recreates iconic characters in 'chunky' forms

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES -- Artist Alex Solis is trying to send a message to kids that eating unhealthy food can have serious consequences.

As a way to show kids what happens, and keep them entertained, he created "Famous Chunkies." The chunkies is a series of drawings that depict what cartoon, comic, video game and movie characters would actually look like if they ate only junk food.

Watch the clip above to see some of the characters Solis has drawn up, including famous characters from Disney movies and Marvel Comics.
