Bruce Springsteen fans line up to meet 'The Boss' at Grove
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Hundreds of Bruce Springsteen fans lined up at Barnes & Noble at The Grove on Monday, thrilled at the chance to meet "The Boss" in person at a book signing.
Fans waited hours, some even for days, on the sidewalk to spend a few precious seconds with the music legend.
"The Boss" posed for photos and freely gave away hugs to ecstatic fans, who sometimes broke down in tears when they met him.
"I asked him if I could kiss him, and he hesitated, and I did not wait. I kissed him, so I'm sorry, but I'm not," said one lucky fan.

Springsteen was at the event to promote his new autobiography and memoir, "Born to Run."
Many fans left the meet-and-greet with a pre-signed copy of the book. Springsteen's reps said he signed the books while he was on tour, in between songs.
"Bruce is just so cool. He talks to you, he looks at you, and for him to do this for us, it was amazing," said a fan, who said he slept on the streets overnight to make sure he got a chance to meet him. He called it a check off the old bucket list.
