Saturday was a big night for some well-known stars, along with behind-the-scenes talent, at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Among the big winners: Joe Morton, who was awarded the outstanding guest actor in a drama for ABC's "Scandal," capturing his first Emmy for portraying Rowan Pope, father of powerful crisis manager Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).
"It's an incredible feeling to have been in the business this long. This is the first time I've been up for one of these things," Morton said backstage. "My head is in the clouds somewhere and my feet are trying to touch the ground."
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards take place August 25.
