Daniel Radcliffe charms in 'What If'
In 'What If,' actor Daniel Radcliffe plays a man who falls in love with a woman who has a boyfriend.

In "What If," actor Daniel Radcliffe plays Wallace, a guy who meets the perfect woman for him - except she's got a boyfriend.

He bottles up the love he feels and goes the friendship route. Unlike his character, Radcliffe said he would probably be more direct with the woman he loves.

"I wouldn't last as long as he does without having the conversation about like 'Do you fancy me? Is this going one way or is this reciprocated? What's going on here?' I don't think I would be able to live in uncertainty for as long as Wallace does," Radcliffe said.

Professionally, Radcliffe said he's choosing projects that excite him.

"I'm in a position at the moment when I only have to do films that I want to do because I love them and because I am excited. Who knows how long that will last? I'm taking advantage of it while I have the chance," Radcliffe said.

At 25, he's come a long way since Harry Potter.

"I think it surprises or amazes people more that I am doing lots of different things. But I also think it's due to the fact that I played one part for so long that kind of builds up in you a desire," Radcliffe said.
