HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Stars of "Furious 7" attended the action-filled sequel's premiere in Hollywood Wednesday night, but one cast member was noticeably missing.

We're here "celebrating for the fans, celebrating for the movie, more importantly, celebrating his (Paul Walker's) life," Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson said.

Walker was killed in a car accident in November 2013, while "Furious 7" was still filming.

"This movie almost didn't see the light of day, so this night, it means everything to me right now," rapper and actor Ludacris said. "It's a little bittersweet, but this movie is paying homage to Paul and I'm glad that we were able to finish it in his honor."

The film is expected to make more than $100 million in the opening weekend.
