'General Hospital' Nurses' Ball promises intrigue, drama
The annual Nurses' Ball is back again on 'General Hospital,' and this year's event promises to bring plenty of intrigue and drama to Port Charles.

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The annual Nurses' Ball is back again on "General Hospital," and this year's event promises to bring plenty of intrigue and drama to Port Charles.

Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, says her character may cause some trouble at the ball.

"I mean it depends on what you think is trouble or whose side you're on, but yeah, oh for sure," she said. "I get a little scrappy."

Lynn Herring's Lucy Coe character is back, once again in charge of the whole shebang.

"There's a lot of story that's kind of wound around the numbers, so it's not only entertainment but there's a lot of intrigue and drama this year," Herring said.

Other characters hinted that there would be twists, surprises - and a performance to remember by head nurse Epiphany Jones, played by Sonya Eddy.

"Honey, they're making me earn my keep this time. When y'all see it, look, I'm just saying, I'm pretty proud," Eddy said. "I'm old, and I still managed to do it."

You can watch "General Hospital" on ABC7 weekdays at 2 p.m.
