Justin Bieber responds to Seth Rogen: 'Sorry I didn't bow down'

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Justin Bieber has finally responded to a few comments Seth Rogen has made about him to the media while promoting his upcoming film "Neighbors."

"Seth Rogan [sic] sorry I didnt bow down when I asked 2 meet u," the singer wrote on Thursday, May 8. "Was probably a bit shy and didn't want to be over the top but still. love ur movies."

On Monday, May 5, Rogen appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show and recalled a negative few encounters he's had with the 20-year-old singer.

Stern asked Rogen, 32, about a tweet he wrote (Warning: tweet contains an expletive) about Bieber in January, shortly after the singer's DUI arrest in Miami, in which he called Bieber an expletive.

"I've met him a few times. It was more... He's a good example of someone who you meet who you think you are going to hate and then you get to hate him as much as you [thought]. You're like, 'Oh great,'" Rogen told Stern. He later added, "You meet him and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you hope he'll be."

Rogen then said he first met Bieber backstage at a German talk show.

"Someone came to the door and was like 'Justin Bieber wants to meet you,'" the actor said, noting it was the beginning of "Biebermania."

"And then I went outside to meet him and he was acting like I asked to meet him. It was very nonchalant like, 'Yo man, what's up?' And I was like what the [expletive]. I don't give a [expletive] about -- I don't want to meet you," he later added. "Don't act like all nonplussed to meet me. I didn't want to meet you. I was totally cool with not meeting you."

Rogen said he later chalked up Bieber's attitude to being young, but then he met the singer again two years later at an MTV Awards show and the singer had the same attitude.

"No humility, no awareness, no sense that 'I appeal to young, young people, maybe a grown man who works in comedy doesn't [expletive] give a [expletive] about me. Maybe I should act in such a way that perhaps this isn't the great experience of his [expletive] life,'" Rogen told Stern.

Rogen also made comments about Bieber when he appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" back in March.

"He seems like he's obnoxious and ungrateful and insincere and he puts people's lives at danger with his horrible, horrible behavior," he said.
