HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Justin Bieber's security guard allegedly took a cellphone from a fan who recorded a video of the singer in Hollywood, prompting Los Angeles police officers to investigate the incident as a possible theft.

The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Monday at the grand opening of Dave & Busters at Hollywood and Highland. Bieber's security asked to review the fan's video, which triggered the incident, police said.

Officers determined that no theft occurred and no crime was committed. All parties cooperated with authorities.
