Love is in the air with ABC's new romantic comedy 'Manhattan Love Story'
Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman bring romance and intelligence with an edge to ABC's new comedy "Manhattan Love Story."

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Love is in the air on Tuesday nights on ABC. Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman play potential lovebirds in the new romantic comedy, "Manhattan Love Story."

During the course of each episode, we discover what's going on inside the characters' heads by hearing their unfiltered internal thoughts.

"You don't have an ego when you're talking in your head," McDorman said. "So it's almost like two characters - that's the way I look at it. There's head version of Peter, which is totally vulnerable. And then Peter Peter, which is trying not to show that he's vulnerable. It's fun to play."

Both stars think the show offers something others may not.

"I think they're going for higher concept material and, you know, actually giving it the time on air that it needs to breathe," said McDorman.

"A lot of shows are bringing edge," Tipton said. "I think, hopefully, a lot of shows are learning that they can actually bring intelligence with that edge, which I think 'Manhattan Love Story' does."

"Manhattan Love Story" airs Tuesday nights at 8:30 p.m. on ABC7.
