Madonna fans tweet support after singer stumbles on stage during Brit Awards
Madonna gave quite the memorable performance at the Brit Awards on Wednesday, not so much for her singing, but because she fell down on stage.
A Vine user captured the moment when Madonna was performing at the awards show. In it, you can see the singer wearing a giant cape of sorts. As the cape opens, Madonna immediately topples backwards.
The Vine quickly went viral, with over 30,000 shares on Twitter. Madonna's fans, which include celebrities and notable figures, tweeted their support for the Queen of Pop.
Madonna then explained what happened in an Instagram post with the following caption.
"Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove"
