HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Dozens of people gathered in Hollywood at the Dolby Theater where they are trying to set a world record and win a grand prize for the most hands and longest time on the Batmobile.

It is a 24-hour challenge, according to Doritos marketing director Stuart Beck. The person who can keep their hands on the Batmobile the longest wins the grand prize: $2,500 and a VIP tour of the Warner Bros. Studio with a stuntman experience.

The competition was started with a partnership between Doritos and Warner Bros. Studios in anticipation of the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.

The contest started at 10 a.m. Thursday and ends at 10 a.m. Friday when a winner will be revealed.
