HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Pitbull is the latest entertainer to place his hand and footprints in cement outside the TCL Chinese Theater.

Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, was humbled by the honor given to him on Friday.

He's proud to be a first-generation Cuban American success story, and knows the main thanks goes to his very vocal and supportive fans.

"More than anything, I want to say thank you to the fans because without you there's no Pitbull, no revolution, no movement at the end of the day," he said.

Pitbull has sold more than six million albums and has had No. 1 hits in 15 different countries.
