Rapper Nipsey Hussle released on bail

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Rapper Nipsey Hussle - who was supposed to perform at the Made in America music festival in downtown Los Angeles this weekend - was released from jail Saturday.

Hussle, whose given name is Emmias Asghedom, was arrested at Slauson Avenue Clothing in the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles at 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The 29-year-old was booked for obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $13,000.

It was unclear if he would perform during his scheduled appearance at the music festival.
