Won't you be my neighbor? Tom Hanks set to play Mister Rogers in biopic

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood will be coming to the big screen with Tom Hanks starring as beloved children's TV host Fred Rogers.

TriStar pictures announced on Monday the upcoming biopic "You Are My Friend."

The movie will focus on Rogers' friendship with journalist Tom Junod. Production will begin in September, and the movie is expected to be released in 2019.
