If you find your mother annoying, you haven't met the "Crazy Jewish Mom," the latest Instagram sensation full of hilarious musings and lectures all sent from one woman's obsessive mother.

Kate Siegel, 26, began chronicling her mother's text messages in early November last year, and has since amassed 304,000 followers on Instagram. Siegel screenshots the text messages from her mother on her iPhone and posts them to the Instagram account, recalling many bizarre conversations that range from overly personal, obsessive and brutally honest commentary.

Siegel's mother is not above detailing what she believes are her daughter's flaws, talking openly about sex and plastic surgery, or even trying to set Siegel up on dates with Ivy League educated men... despite the fact that she already has a boyfriend that her mother cruelly nicknamed "the Superjew."

She also texts her daughter's boyfriend:

"I started this project three months ago, because my friends always laughed at my mom's texts," told Yahoo Parenting. "I'm an only child so I get all my mom's attention."

Siegel's mother, who prefers to remain anonymous, lives with Seigel's father in New Jersey. According to Seigel, her mother is comfortable with her newfound fame.

"She doesn't mind me posting about her, mostly because she doesn't understand the Internet," said Seigel. "For example, she confuses the search bar with the status update field on Facebook."
