LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Starbucks is scheduled to open a La Boulange bakery-cafe in Los Angeles in June. The restaurant is targeting a dinner crowd.

Starbucks Corporation bought the La Boulange chain in 2012. The cafes are based in the San Francisco Bay Area and focus mainly on breakfast and lunch, and typically close before 7 p.m.

The Los Angeles location will be open until 10 p.m., according to a Starbucks spokeswoman, and will serve beer, wine, cocktails and milkshakes, in addition to bakery items, build-your-own burgers and other dinner fare. It will have more a "modern farmhouse" feel to it, according to the spokeswoman.

The L.A. location will open June 12 and be the first outside of the Bay Area.
