Put on your stretchy pants and get your game faces on. Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest food day of the year in America (after Thanksgiving).
The average person consumes about 2,000 calories during the game, the same number of calories they would normally eat over an entire day.
48 million people will order takeout for the game.
Americans will eat nearly 1.3 billion chicken wings for Super Bowl Sunday.
4 million pizzas will be ordered.
And 14 billion hamburgers will be eaten.
Americans will consumer 11 million pounds of potato chips.
8 million pounds of guacamole.
4 million pounds of pretzels.
2.5 million pounds of nuts.
And 3.8 million pounds of popcorn.
But surprisingly, in spite of all those other snacks, vegetables are the most eaten food on Super Bowl Sunday.
To wash it all down, Americans will drink 325 million gallons of beer.
All of that may leave more than a few people with a tummy ache. 1.5 million Americans are expected to call out sick Monday.
And 4.4 million will show up late.
Happy Super Bowl!
