LAS VEGAS (KABC) -- A serial shooter is on the loose in Las Vegas. Police say in the past nine days, he's shot four people, two of them fatally.

Las Vegas police said surveillance video shows a suspected serial shooter walking up to a sleeping homeless man and killing him.

Just days earlier on Jan. 29, investigators say that same suspect killed another man and injured two others.

The first incident was at a gas station parking lot, and later, he allegedly shot a homeless man asleep outside of a strip mall. Not long after, he shot another sleeping homeless man in the face, according to police.

The victim whose homicide was captured on camera has been identified as 64-year-old James Lewis. His daughter said she'd searched for him for years, and now she's learning all at once that he was homeless and heartlessly killed.

"I'm a wreck. I have so many questions, and my biggest question is why, why would somebody do this?" said Oneida Lewis Baker.

Investigators said they're working desperately to track the killer down.

They released surveillance video of what they say is his silver or gray Hyundai Tucson.

"We must find this suspect," said LVPD Capt. Robert Plummer on the police department's Facebook page. "He is armed and dangerous and is targeting our homeless, the most vulnerable citizens."
