HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man armed with a machete stole a car from a driver at a gas station in Hollywood early Wednesday morning, police said.
The grand theft auto happened at 5:43 a.m. at a gas station at Western and Fountain avenues.
The suspect wielded a machete to take a 2000 gray/silver Honda Accord from the victim, who suffered cuts in the theft.
The victim was treated at a local hospital in stable condition.
Police asked anyone with information to contact the LAPD.
