Motorcyclist killed in Pacoima hit-run crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pacoima Saturday night.

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pacoima Saturday night and authorities are searching for the driver.

Authorities said the crash happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Osborne Street and Norris Avenue.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s with tattoos on his neck and body, was at a stop sign at the intersection, when he pulled out and turned left in front of the motorcyclist.

Authorities said the motorcyclist was heading eastbound on Osborne when the suspect cut in front of him. The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle.

Authorities said the suspect fled the scene and was driving a dark-colored 1999 GMC pickup truck. The truck is believed to have significant damage to the driver's side.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim has not been identified.

Authorities said witnesses followed the suspect and officers are following several leads to find and arrest him.
