$50K reward offered to find hit-and-run driver who struck elderly woman

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A $50,000 reward is being offered to find the driver who fled the scene after hitting an 86-year-old woman while she was crossing the street near the University of Southern California.

The woman was crossing Adams Boulevard and Figueroa Street in Exposition Park when she was hit. The driver, who was in an SUV, drove about a block before making a U-turn and then driving past the victim.

The victim is still in critical condition and suffered two broken femurs, fractures in her pelvis and head injuries.

The suspect was seen driving a silver colored late model Infinity SUV.
