1 injured after patio collapses in Malibu

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- One person suffered traumatic injuries after a patio collapsed at a property in Malibu on Tuesday.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. in the 26300 block of Malibu Colony Road.

The injured individual was transported from the scene to an area hospital. The person's condition was not immediately known.

The circumstances surrounding the collapse were not clear.

The property recently sold for $9.5 million and was undergoing construction.
