CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was stabbed to death and four others injured during a fight at a house party in Carson early Sunday morning, according to sheriff's deputies.

The fight broke out at a party in the 18600 block of Towne Avenue at 11:55 p.m.

Some of the men involved in the fight left the party in a vehicle, but were forced to pull over several blocks to get help near East 184th Street and Avalon Boulevard, Deputy Crystal Hernandez of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.

Responding paramedics attempted to treat one of the men for apparent stab wounds, but he died at the scene.

Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators processed two scenes overnight: the home where the victim was stabbed, and the nearby street where he died.

Four other people involved in the fight were treated at local hospitals for various injuries. No arrests have been made in the case.
