SNOW VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Photojournalist Tim Danson traveled all over Southern California for the past 50 years to cover stories for Eyewitness News.

Now, the veteran has retired from the business, and his coworkers and bosses bid him a fond farewell.

For Danson, it was never just another day at the office. He spent 12,513 days with KABC-TV, but on Friday he held a camera one last time.

There wasn't anything Tim was unwilling to do from covering snow storms in the mountains to floods and fires. But his family at Eyewitness News will remember him for his playful attitude, enthusiasm, mentorship and hard work.

Congratulations Tim, and happy retirement!!
