RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A family is devastated after their beloved miniature horse was stolen from their Riverside home on Saturday.

Tracy Bowen said her miniature horse named "Treasure" was stolen from its locked stall on Sandy Lane between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Bowen said four people in Norco reported seeing two men driving around with a miniature horse in the back of their car.

Police reports have been filed with Riverside and Norco police.

Treasure is a male miniature horse with a blonde mane. He about about 32 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds.

Bowden said he is a 16-year-old gelding and has been with the family for 14 years.
