VIDEO: Lamborghini plows through flooded San Diego intersection

SAN DIEGO (KABC) -- Motorists are always advised not to drive into standing water. One driver in San Diego didn't heed that advice, but luckily, the Lamborghini made it through unscathed.

The incident was captured on video and posted to Facebook from Jeff Chin Photography.

In the footage, the Lamborghini is seen approaching a severely flooded intersection. The car creeps forward, and becomes nearly submerged in water at one point.

But the car continues to plow through the water, makes it out the other side and zooms off.

El Nino-driven storms have dumped a lot of rain in the last week, flooding many roads across Southern California.

One driver in a Mini Cooper wasn't as lucky. He tried to drive through a flooded street near the Sepulveda Basin on Tuesday and got stuck. He had to climb out of his window and jump to safety.
