Chino chase, barricade suspect arrested

CHINO, Calif. -- A suspect who refused to pull over, barricaded himself in his Chino home and evaded police was arrested Friday morning.

It all started Thursday morning when police tried to pull over Larry Lopez, 46, around 9:21 a.m. Authorities said Lopez refused to pull over, and a chase ensued. Lopez drove to his own residence in the 13700 block of San Antonio Avenue and ran inside.

Chino SWAT were on scene to negotiate with Lopez, but authorities were unable to locate him at the home.

Friday morning, Chino police posted to the department Facebook page that Lopez, who was wanted for an active warrant and felony evading, was taken into custody Friday morning.
