Man in his 40s shot to death outside South Los Angeles barber shop

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man in his 40s was fatally shot outside a barber shop in South Los Angeles on Friday.

Los Angeles police received a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the 9300 block of Western Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Responding officers found a male gunshot would victim on the street.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

Police are looking for two male suspects in their 20s in a black, compact car, which was last seen traveling northbound on Western Avenue.
