SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was shot by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in Santa Clarita on Thursday.

Officials said the deputy-involved shooting happened at Shangri-La Drive and Nathan Hill Drive at about 7:50 p.m.

The man was taken to the hospital, but the sheriff's department could not confirm his condition. No deputies were hurt during the incident.

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau are investigating the shooting.

Officials did not release any information about what led up to the shooting.
