Nearly 100 flights canceled at LAX due to East Coast storm
More than 90 flights were canceled out of Los Angeles International Airport as a massive nor'easter covered the East Coast.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- More than 90 flights were canceled out of Los Angeles International Airport as a massive nor'easter covered the East Coast.

Passengers hoping to head to the East Coast have been stranded at LAX and dozens of other airports across the country. More than 9,000 flights have been canceled as a result of the dangerous conditions.

Travelers will not be expected to travel out to the eastern states until at least Tuesday. The blizzard blanketed Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York by Saturday morning.

Ten states issued emergency declarations, and Philadelphia International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport stopped operations because of the inclement weather.
