Car tumbles 150 feet down embankment in Malibu

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people are recovering after their car went tumbling 150 feet down an embankment in Malibu on Monday.

The vehicle went off the road near the 3500 block of Winter Canyon and ended up upside down at the bottom of the embankment around 7 a.m.

Los Angeles County firefighters raced to the scene, where they said one person managed to crawl out of the vehicle. Crews rescued the other two.

The cause of the crash and the conditions of those involved were not immediately known.
