Kevin Smith's daughter nearly kidnapped by fake Uber drivers
Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of director Kevin Smith, opened up about her experience when two fake Uber drivers attempted to kidnap her while she was waiting outside of a Brentwood Starbucks.

BRENTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Director Kevin Smith's teenage daughter detailed via Instagram a near kidnapping experience while waiting for an Uber in Los Angeles.

Harley Quinn Smith described the scary run-in: "I was standing outside a Starbucks in Brentwood when a large beige car drove up to me and tried to get me to think they were my Uber."

The 16-year-old went on to describe how there was an Uber sign on the front window, but she could tell the two men inside were not with the company.

She said she wasn't thinking straight enough to take a photo of the drivers or license plate but has since reported the incident to police.

Meanwhile, her famous father tweeted and warned others about the situation, and as a way to comfort his daughter, he made her a cake that read: "Sorry men suck."

Harley posted a photo of her dad's gift on Instagram with the caption: Just when i was about to lose faith in humanity...my dad got me this cake and made me remember that some people, like himself, make the world a lot better."
