VIDEO: Close call during Texas demolition

HOUSTON (KABC) -- A demolition of a corporate plaza in Houston, Texas didn't go exactly as planned, making for a very close call for an excavator operator.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, was caught on video by a bystander and posted to YouTube.

In the footage, you can see the excavator getting too close to the building.

The rubble then falls on top of the machine.

According to the bystander, the operator of the excavator was not hurt.
