An intruder was shot and killed at an apartment in Canyon Country, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were investigating the shooting death of an alleged apartment intruder in Canyon Country Friday night.

Santa Clarita Station deputies responded to the 26000 block of Isabella Parkway at about 9:10 p.m. after a man notified authorities he shot a suspect who broke into his apartment.
