Large tree topples, crushes several cars in Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A massive tree toppled over and flattened several vehicles in Sun Valley Friday afternoon.

The alarming scene was in the 7200 block of Cartwright Avenue and happened shortly before 4 p.m.

Three vehicles were crushed and crews were working to figure out what caused it to tip over.

Witnesses said some sort of waterline broke from the impact of the crash and has since been turned off.

Authorities said no injuries were reported.
