PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Rose Bowl will soon be home to a new festival, which was approved by the Pasadena City Council Tuesday.

The Arroyo Seco Music and Arts Festival will be a three-day, family-friendly event. The final details still need to be ironed out, but AEG and the Bowl are in the final talks to get it going.

In addition to music, there will be bookstores, art pieces on display and possibly even plays. The event could start as soon as summer 2017.
