Mexico City gives Los Angeles bronze wings sculpture

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Angelinos now have a new spot to take great photos thanks to a bronze gift from Mexico City.

The "sister city" to Los Angeles gave the gift of a bronze wings sculpture that will be permanently installed near City Hall.

On Thursday, dignitaries got a sneak peek of the sculpture and took turns taking photos in front of it. The wings appear to hang in midair, just below shoulder level, which is perfect for photo opportunities.
