Dark and stormy clouds brought in heavy downpours in the Inland Empire and created risky driving conditions for motorists in the area.

BANNING, Calif. (KABC) -- Dark and stormy clouds brought in heavy downpours in the Inland Empire and created risky driving conditions for motorists in the area.

Rain pounded the roadways and slowed traffic in the Yucaipa and Banning areas. In the high desert community of Victorville, heavy rain soaked anyone who was not prepared for the weather.

In the mountain areas, snowfall and foggy conditions took over the skies. Flash flood warnings were also in effect for the San Bernardino County area.
