RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.9 struck about seven miles northeast of Running Springs in San Bernardino County early Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The shallow temblor struck at 1:07 a.m. and had a depth of two miles.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
