Hiker rescued in Chatsworth after 2 days in rugged terrain
A hiker was rescued in Chatsworth, Los Angeles after two days in rugged terrain.

CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A hiker was rescued by the Los Angeles Fire Department in Chatsworth on Sunday after being in rugged terrain for two days.

Officials said the 44-year-old man was located by a radio tower near De Soto Avenue.

Firefighters said the hiker was suffering from exposure and his cellphone was on low battery when he called for help.

A crew rescued the man at about 4:45 p.m. and took him to the hospital for evaluation. Officials listed the man in stable condition.
