SWAT situation in San Bernardino ends with no sign of suspect

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A SWAT situation prompted by a gang sweep in San Bernardino Tuesday morning ended after officers found no signs of the suspect inside a home, police said.

Officers were serving a search warrant in the area near the 2200 block of Donald Street when officials said the suspect refused to come out.

The Inland Valley SWAT team, which is comprised of multiple agencies in the Inland Empire, were called to the scene to try to coax the suspect into surrendering. SWAT officers did not find anyone inside, police said.

No further details were immediately released. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this incident was asked to contact the San Bernardino Police Department.
