PHILADELPHIA -- A blimp made an emergency landing and deflated at a construction site next to a Philadelphia highway in Fishtown.
It happened just before 6:47 p.m. along the Delaware River off Interstate 95.
The aircraft came down for an emergency landing on Delaware Avenue, then got blown into an industrial area at Beach and Richmond streets, ending up wrapped around a utility pole.
Two people were aboard.
Fortunately, the electrical wires never made contact, and neither of the passengers were injured.
The FAA and NTSB were investigating the cause of the crash.
