Armed suspect arrested after hours-long barricade in Cudahy

CUDAHY, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities arrested an armed suspect who was barricaded inside a Cudahy home early Saturday morning.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a call around 9:56 p.m. Friday regarding a person in a car with a gun.

When authorities arrived at the 5300 block of Elizabeth Street, the suspect was found inside of a home. SWAT officers contained the area as the suspect barricaded themselves in the residence.

Around 6:30 a.m. the next morning, authorities were able to arrest the suspect. No further information was released.
