HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) --For 10 years, the non-profit, all-volunteer No Worries Foundation has put together proms for young adults who have battled or are battling terminal conditions.
One of those proms kicked off in Hollywood. About 150 people and their guests were treated to a free evening of fun where positivity trumps any scary diagnosis.
"For the first time in a long time, they can wear a ball gown instead of a hospital gown. They're able to actually enjoy themselves and forget their worries for a night," director Marta Belcher said.
As the kids enjoyed a good time with stars who live at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, it was clear the kids were the stars of the night.
