GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- The 200-pound black bear spotted in La Canada Flintridge on Wednesday was found up a tree in Glendale on Friday.

The female 3-year-old was located in the 2900 block of Saint Gregory Road, according to Steve Gonzales of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Game wardens said they know it was the same bear spotted in both areas because she was tagged in the first incident.

Fish and Wildlife officials said they hoped the bear will do what she did on Wednesday and come down on her own and into the forest after the sun goes down.

Meantime, officials were looking after the curious bear until she returned home.
