BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- A lifeguard at the Verdugo Park pool in Burbank was arrested for allegedly taking photos and video of girls and women in the facility's locker room and restroom.

Police said officers arrived at the pool at 3201 W. Verdugo Ave. Wednesday morning and located the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Arturo Montano.

Investigators found evidence on Montano's cellphone. Authorities also conducted a search of Montano's Sun Valley home and seized evidence, including a computer, which will be forensically searched.

While combing through evidence, detectives were able to identify several juvenile and adult victims. Police said they were in the process of contacting and interviewing the victims.

Montano was booked into Burbank City Jail on a charge of possessing images of a minor to use for sexual stimulation and on six counts of concealing a camera to videotape the less than fully clothed bodies of others without their knowledge for the purpose of sexual gratification.

Montano's bail was set at $170,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
