14 injured in Metro bus crash in Bell

BELL, Calif. (KABC) -- Fourteen people were hospitalized after a Metro bus veered into a light pole in Bell Sunday morning.

The incident occurred near Florence and Atlantic avenues around 6:45 a.m.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said it took eight ambulances to transport all 14 patients to local area hospitals. Their injuries were said to be minor.

What caused the crash remains under investigation.
