Man shot in head, killed in South LA; suspect sought

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police were searching for a suspect accused of fatally shooting a man in the head in South L.A. Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The shooting was reported at 62nd Street and Harvard Boulevard at about 12:15 p.m., according to officials from LAPD Media Relations.

The victim was described only as a 32-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the suspect was seen fleeing the area in a 2010 Gray Chevy Malibu.

No further information was immediately released.
