BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A busy freeway transition road in Boyle Heights was shut down for hours on Monday after a big rig rolled down an embankment and jackknifed.

Fortunately, the driver was not injured, and the big rig did not hit any other cars.

The westbound 10 Freeway transition to the southbound 5 Freeway was closed. The closure was expected to last until around noon, the California Highway Patrol said.

A hazardous-materials team was sent to clean up some fuel that spilled from the truck's fuel tanks, and crews were working to repair damaged guard rails.
