HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) -- One man was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting at a Hawthorne barbershop Saturday.

Grieving friends and family gathered at Updeh Cutz at Crenshaw and El Segundo boulevards, where the shooting happened around 4 p.m.

One man was pronounced dead inside the shop. Friends identified him as Raymond Arnold and said the 32-year-old father of four is from Watts.

A second shooting victim believed to have been in the parking lot was taken by witnesses to the hospital. Detectives say the 29-year-old man was rushed into surgery and is expected to survive.

At this point investigators aren't sure how many shooters may have been involved, but they know there were lots of witnesses in the area.

Detectives say there has been trouble at the barbershop before and believe the deadly gunfire may have been gang-related.
